I really like these birds - how they photograph and how tiny, tiny they are...

The colours of South West of Western Australia. Subtle … sublime IMO.... its really nice how I can stand on a veranda that is far off ground level and reach out and touch the native tree which attracts the native birds....

These birds, Red Wattlebird, like facing the sun.... the first one is from this morning and the second pair are facing a sun going down. Very proud birds but shy of people.... they also have a horrible squawk... and lets face it.. they're ugly....lol.

I tried finding him yesterday and couldn't... my files get lost when I try and find them the day after... I take a picture, I cut out the area I want and then save it under a new name and then it goes to albums that have space in them...

anyway... capturing him or her with the beak open like that was awesome but due to the fact I am facing the sun I only cop silhouettes..

I love this... as the blooms finish and hang sadly, so does the birds head...

They're used to me taking their pictures now and they come closer to me. I talk them and make as much noise as possible because birds like noise... it's the silence that scares them...
