I Am Fragile

Do I sound “tough” to you?

Is that the way you see me?

When a person feels pain no human should experience, it changes you forever.

No longer can you ignore the barbs that are purposely thrown at you.

No longer can you fob them off.

With each bard of pain maliciously inflicted, more life’s blood bleeds out until only a brittle shell that was once ones outer garment, remains.

I am fragile, shatter me no more.
