Unless a mess contains car grease or something equally as disgusting, then it isn't a mess...

poor birdie....it is somewhere slowly dying from being whacked by a revolving ceiling fan...

Arete, I also had a bird, a blue budgie one time "Bubba" who was whacked by a ceiling fan....snapped her leg clean in half....went to the vet....the vet got a matchstick and taped it to the leg with a bandage and then ran glue down the bandage...so one side a match stick and glue for a splint on the other side.....the first day my Bubba slept upside down in one of the food containers...lol completely knocked out from the ordeal...I wrote the story out and that is on my Avant-garde Philosophy group...anyway, we took the bandage off and the leg was still broken so we bound it back up and after a couple of weeks, it knitted together and she was fine....and the mother of my entire breeding program..

Ya think the bird is okay?  I mean it looked like she flew off but
it coulda been the fan thrusting her.  My daughter and I looked
all over the yard for her but we can't find her.  That was horrible.

I'm trying to find my story....I was writing about my bird to an M$N gay man who was into birds..."LateNite Dummy" was his screen name...LOL...he was a bird lover like me too...

Can't find them...must be in another board...maybe my "Troll Philosophy Inc" board which I didn't save at multiply...lol

I think the bird will die Arete...I think something will be broken and there is no one to look after her...sorry but that is what has happened and she is probably a cats lunch by now but just don't tell the kids....

if she is really, really lucky, she has flown into someone's yard and they're going to try a rescue...

what an awful shame really..
