The Conquer Club Admins have been busy over the last month or so drawing up plans to relaunch the site. As part of our future vision for CC we want it to appear more appealing and friendly to a much wider audience and as such have completely changed the colour scheme and name. My experience has shown that a good colour scheme and name is vital to a sites success, its the most lasting first impression to a user and this new scheme will certainly grab their attention.
We have also decided to remove Flame Wars and instead replace it with “Peace & Love”. We felt Flame Wars did not really fit in with the new direction we had planned and wanted something a bit friendlier. So instead of spreading hatred we can now spread love within our Community!
As I am sure you will agree, this is quite a radical change but I am very excited to be able to reveal this to you! I hope you can keep an open mind and give these changes a chance as we feel they will be vital in making CC a bigger success in the future!
From the spelling they're a bunch of Brits....like how the IPs visiting this board are from the UK, too. |

love and peace? sounds like a novel idea, doesn't it?
To attract love, you need to be loveable, right?
Actually, that doesn't attract anything other than needy people.
I guess it is a good gimmick....look at TDT "flame forum"...no one is allowed to "flame" there anymore...oh sure, they can be criminally vile...that is no problem, but to actually show talent and upstage Prowler or Nele...forget it...it doesn't happen.

They want me to create an account to "save my images"...it is funny how my imageshack images aren't working of the ones of the characters from TDT but eveyone else is fine.
