Obi is posting at a forum called the Cosmic Outpost.  Somehow he managed to get himslef made a global moderator there...I guess they didn't realize that at FC he was pretty much a spamming idiot and generally worthless as a moderator, global or otherwise.

If you're interested I'll pm you the link.  They have a "fight" forum there, and I see a few familiar nics there.  But since I don't know the forum I'm reluctant to post the link publically.  I would only recommend boards that I know are trustworthy.

Ah. I haven't been keeping up with FT news and weather.

I was wondering where Omnia got off to. Her grumpiness was entertaining.

As entertainng as a horror movie.

I actually found Omnia's posts somewhat witty. At least she knows how to use the English language correctly.

Nw nearly every country has its own english.
American English
British English
And most british colonies hv developed mixture of American and British,
So as far as a word is in the dictionary you can use it any hw.

Whether it makes sense is nt important.

True. And you can tell it was a French colony if you visit Louisiana.

Wasn't it a German one as well? Didn't the Amish originate from Germany?

I watched "The Last of the Mochicans" the other day, just so I could listen to the music.....and that was set in a setting of the English and French war in the USA....slow movie BUT, the ending [last 20 minutes] is exciting....and sad....and poignant...and beautifully filmed.

I don't believe the US was a German colony, but there was a large influx of German immigrants in the 1800's, especially on the East Coast.

I love Daniel Day Lewis; I'll watch any film he's in. "My Left Foot" and "In the Name of the Father" are my favorites (although I can't watch "In the Name of the Father" without getting fully pissed off).

OMG, Daniel Day Lewis is YUMMEH. I have the movie on DVD; I'm probably gonna watch it tonight now.

Okie dokie, time to shower and head off to the volunteer thing. Nothing like whiny addicts on a Sunday afternoon to remind me how grateful I am not to be where they are anymore. Roll Eyes
