Family-Placed Obituary
CYNTHIA D. SIMMONS Cynthia D. Simmons, a 15-year Royal Palm Beach resident, died Sunday at her home. She was 44. Cindy was a police service aide in Broward County until 1994. She was an avid reader and loved animals. Cindy was born in Washington, DC, on September 23, 1964 to Victor and Nellie McEachin. Her parents survive in Fort Lauderdale. On September 25, 1992, she married Shawn Simmons. Her husband survives at home. Cindy is also survived by three children, Patrick and Victoria Simmons, at home, and Michael Pecararo of Hollywood; and a brother, Sean McEachin. Cremation was private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
