rumor has it i was o.d.'d on banana gerber baby food, lol & haven't ate one since.

Oh boy….you’re missing out on potassium since bananas are so rich in them.

You might find you’ve changed since those times…..when I was very  little, [under 5], I used to like cucumbers, then for some reason, I couldn’t stand them…..when I was about 17, I remembered being 5 and  liking them so I decided to give them another go….I sat down and slowly ate a cucumber and from that time onwards, I ate them again…..much, much later, I worked out why I developed a distaste for them between 5 and 17  and it was because old cucumbers have a sour middle and at 5, I must have got one of those…but a young fresh one, has a sweet middle….I am careful to choose the right size and age now and I get it right every time….with cucumbers at least, bigger is NOT always better…in fact don’t big ones at all.

thanx but there is no chance for me.  i can barely tolerate the smell from standing next to someone eating one

Fruit isn't as nice as it used to be. They pick the bloody stuff green and ripen it artifically.......it doesn't taste same as it did years ago.

The other thing I thought about why Bella doesn't even like the smell of bananas is that when she was a kid, they used to flavour kids medicine, banana,  to get them to swallow  it.....

I wonder if she associates the smell with being served some type of anti-biotics since her mentioning it gave me a bit of a clue?

I have an aunty who hates all fruit, except pears and bananas.
