me to get rid of my dog & I told him
NO WAY....I had allergies to him only
while I was pregnant & they were really
bad but by the 4th or 5th month the
allergies went away & I still had my dawgie.

Dogs eat cat poop if they can find it and they can get toxoplasmosis just the same as people can. In fact, I actually KNOW someone whose dog died of that, or more precisely, was blinded and then put down by the vet.

Cats get toxoplasmosis by eating raw meat. Well, if cats can get it via eating raw meat, so can dawgies.

Pregnant women should not go around digging in the garden without gloves on, in any case.

Well, I hope my dog doesn't eat any cat
POOP.  I'm glad I didn't know of all the dangers
when I was pregnant.  I think people worry
too much & that's uncool & only causes problems.
I worked up until I gave birth.  My boss used
to get mad at me because I'd lift things (not extremely heavy stuff)
but to him I couldn't lift ANYTHING but an envelope.
