I love your yard, it makes me long so for summer. Here in Edmonton we've had the most snow fall recorded since 1971. Sheesh...

My front yard looks great.... its my backyard that is hell on earth..

White mother Bantam and her very large babies… they never stop mothering even when they’re so much larger than their adopted mother. Its amazing.





The only thing I don’t like about the bantams is that they teach the babies to be timid of humans and chickens aren’t like that…. They love people…. I don’t know whether that is because we got a white bantam as an adult and a black one as well as an adult, or if their nature is like that anyway. I have only ever kept chickens, pekin ducks (also timid or wary of people) budgies and Cockatiels ….
