In Australia, we call ranches, "stations".....they are usually huge massive ares larger than some countries and the environment is quite harsh at times. I have difficulty in taking pictures of my work due to the flash so bare with me while I adjust some of my paintings in acrylics and oils.

Oil on Canvas

Here is a variation of the same theme done in deep oranges....

oil on canvas.....

no sheep this time....

sorry about the pictures, I'm no photographer....just a painter and drawing specialist.....lol and a sculptor too...I am also a designer BUT my first love is oil painting....nothing beats oil painting IMO.

This is a drawing done of textured black paper...."Black Boys" in Pastels.

All these are done from imagination only and the reason behind that was because early artists in Australia's history, were European trained and rarely painted the bush how it really was as they were influence by their European training...."Black Boys" have be renamed, Grass Tress.....I find that a complete insult to them actually....I am opposed by the renaming of everything to fit some bullshit, "Political Correctness," agenda.....they aren't even "trees" but belong to the lily family and they are AWESOME.

It took me 3 full days to do this project.

These are wonderful.
Do you have a studio in your home?
I love the smells of an artist's studio.
I've used oils in the past, but I'm not that good, and always feel that I'm wasting the paints.
