I just had a snack....crackers, cheese and tomato and I was thinking....what do American snack on?....and I am not talking about Dorritos or store bought produce, I am talking about going to your fridges or cupboards and finding something to make up...

I am also interested in what the UK people snack on besides pints...

let me know your favourite snacks... try and keep it to simple English so I can understand it...

please discuss...

Mozzerella balls with basil and olive oil,
pickles w/American cheese, cashews,
pistachios, oranges, apples, strawberries
and bananas, avacados, olives, cottage cheese w/
peaches or pineapples.  I also like a little scoop of
cottage cheese inside half an avacado with pepper
and lemon.  HmmmM what else?... well, those are
my go to snacks that I normally have on hand.

Other nuts like walnuts, almonds and peanuts
are also staples.

I seldom snack but if I do it's a few almonds or salted peanuts.

In the summer snacks are fresh peas from the garden while I'm checking it out.
