Should the Clergy Marry?

I say yes....

So why don't they and will we see it in our times?

"Elders" in congregations says the Bible, should be sound of mind, married to one wife...

My slant on why the Catholics outlawed it for their clergy boils down to dollars and cents...

If married priests died, the church would be responsible for the upkeep of the widow and any children.....or, they would inherit his life time's work instead of the church...

any thoughts about that subject since a priest in Oz has now raised the subject again...?
