I believe that this world of ours does need some sort of sanctuary from the trials of everyday life. So, I'd love to hear what sanctuary is and/or means to you.
Is it a favorite book or reading in general? Is it a walk in the woods or a walk on the beach? Do you find sanctuary, and ultimately peace, by writing poetry and listening to music? Or is your sanctuary a state of being, somewhere where you can reach peace and comfort?
Or, is your sanctuary right here on the internet?

My home is my sanctuary.
My imagination is ultimate sanctuary except now, it isn’t from the two traumas that happened to me 10 and 9 years ago…and until you asked those questions, it has only just dawned on me.
The internet isn’t my escape, it is a chance to exert my “will” out there. It is a chance to add some insight and perhaps divert some tragedy. I’ve always had good intentions saving the world from itself…[that is a dream] It is a chance for me to learn from other people but in no way, replaces speaking with people face to face. Television still does that to a lesser extent. When people are interviewed, the viewer can read the body language along with their words and this medium doesn’t offer that so far.
