There are more and more instances where the courts, and prosecutors in particular, are using what people post on the internet as evidence. Not to mention the fact that tons of employers use Google on a regular. My boss actually checked out my Facebook and MySpace pages when I applied.
A good rule of thumb: if you don't want anyone in your real life to hear you say something, you might wanna think twice before saying it in an "anonymous" internet setting.
