Try really hard to let it the feck GO, woman!  Just let it GO.
Nobody knows the soul of another completely.  Don't judge.
 Evil

Ya'll hatin on her cuz she pissed in your Post toasties.
Well, that's what it was all about & if you participated
in "**** off" then you were fair game no matter.

I hope she rolls off the road and lays in a ditch for 7 days before she dies watching the maggots eat her flesh.

Ok, you snatched me in the middle of the night, I was weak and vulnerable. I wish nothing but the best for Susan, it's good for us all, or at least most of us to see a fairytale come true every now and then. I can't think of anything in my lifetime that was more potent than this happenning...

Trust me, out there is a sea of talent that comes in all packages.

It is the spirit of the person that is the true essence.

Take a maggot like flea for instance....now a lot of people consider her physically beautiful on the outside but her spirt is foul and evil....one day, her outward appearance is going to change and then not only will you have a foul and evil spirit but you'll have it trapped in a putrid body.

I left a comment on the newspaper...

She is awesome. I can't stop watching her. She has an incredible spirit. I hope she wins this competition. She's a winner already.

I've started a craze now it appears....

Caskur, your artistic endevours inspired me to do a bit of photoshopping of my own. I used a different shot, where her double chin was not visible. All I changed was, the hair and I plucked her eye-brows.

There is a pretty girl inside bursting to be let out.

I don't want to "change" her look, just enhance her look....

I am NOT trying to make her beautiful. I have tried to make her theatrical....after all, she was a singer in a theatre, was she not?

And as far as "Elvis" went...no one has taken his place....
Susan Boyle CAN sing and even though Kylie Monogue looks/looked great on stage, MONOGUE CAN'T SING....too bad they mentioned Delta in this news story who not only looks good and can sing cuz/but if they were mentioning Monogue, they'd be grasping at staws.......

as for the detractors of Susan....stfu and stf down..

Oh I'm so disgusted I'd rip their bloody throats out if they were anywhere near me....

When we were growing up listening to the great songs on the radio or listening to 78's [mum had plenty] or vinyls.....NO ONE KNEW what the singers looked like....we just appreciated great music and singers when we heard it/them...

Overnight star Boyle faces backlash

The backlash to singing sensation Susan Boyle may have already begun, with newspapers grilling her new look and singing teachers questioning her vocal talents.

Boyle insisted she wouldn't change despite becoming a worldwide phenomenon via Britain's Got Talent and YouTube.

But when the 47-year-old singer stepped out of her Scottish home this week, a number of tabloids were quick to scrutinise her new outfit.

"And you said you wouldn't change, Susan Boyle!" the Daily Mail said, publishing pictures of the overnight celebrity wearing a bright patterned dress, leather jacket, beaded necklace and leopard-print heels.

While hardly an extreme makeover, the middle-aged virgin also appeared to be wearing make-up in public for the first time.

"[Boyle] traded her shapeless stage dress for a fitted, jersey wrap dress — similar to the signature style of fashion diva Diane Von Furstenburg — and opted for vibrant teal and magenta colors in lieu of her usual muted hues," the New York Daily News' entertainment section said.

Meanwhile, prominent Australian singing teachers have agreed that despite earning a mountain of praise, church singer Boyle is not the most technically-tuned performer.

"As a singing teacher, I wouldn't say 'That's a great voice'," said Jennifer Murphy, the head of music theatre at the Australian Institute of Music.

"I would instead say 'That's a great singer' — there's a difference.

"As a technician, she's not great ... [but] as a person who is able to 'joy sing', she's a winner."

Renowned singing coach David Jaanz believed that Boyle should work on her voice before embarking on a professional career.

"Realistically, most coaches would agree that she can be improved," said Jaanz, who has trained chart-topping Australian singers including Delta Goodrem and Gabrielle Cilmi.

"She obviously has a God-given gift but she could do with a bit of brushing up on technique.

"[But] look at Elvis Presley - throughout his career he was a great singer but technically terrible. He was vocally messy but he had the charisma to become a legend."

And Australian Idol singing coach Erana Clark agreed that Boyle would benefit from a mentor, but more to deal with living in the public eye.

"She has a beautiful voice but I would hope that she has people around her to take care of her," Clark said.

"I think more than the vocal side of things it's the psyche that needs to be taken care of.

"A lot of the fascination with her might be out of curiosity. I hope she doesn't just become a curiosity."

People in the entertainment industry don't get it....the public want real talent and not what people look like.....when we listen to music, we want to hear them...it is our ears that are being seduced, not our eyes......ok sure, if someone looks good and has talent,....sure, great....

but we want to share their gifts, not their looks...

Susie RAWKS...

The comment I left for this YouTube video

I would like to see a legitimate Susan Boyle fund started. I never contributed to an Internet fund; this would be a first for me. We all pay for entertainment in one form or another.

This was the highest level of entertainment I've ever witnessed.

Thank you Susan Boyle for the greatest theatrical event of my life, you touched me in a way I’ve never been touched before.

======================================================================

Another British invasion has begun. And her name is Susan Boyle!

Thanks to YouTube, Boyle has become a worldwide sensation after her jaw-dropping performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from the Broadway musical Les Misérables on Britain's Got Talent. As of this afternoon, her seven-minute clip has received close to 12 million views.

As soon as the unemployed, Scottish cat owner opened her mouth, the audience broke into thunderous applause. Even crabby Simon Cowell was stunned by the 47-year-old, as were his fellow judges on the show...

"Without a doubt, that was the biggest surprise I have had in three years of the show," Piers Alpha said.

Amanda Holden echoed Piers' sentiments, telling Boyle, "I think that we were all being very cynical, and that was the biggest wake-up call, ever."

And just this morning, Boyle made her stateside debut—well, kinda. "It hasn't really sunk in yet," the insta-celeb told CBS' Early Show during a live satellite interview. "It's breathtaking, unbelievable, awesome."

Broadway diva Patti LuPone called into the morning show to praise Boyle's rendition of the song that she originally made famous in Les Mis back in 1985. "Susan...has so much courage, and such pluck, really," the Tony winner said, adding, "My husband and I watched [Boyle's performance], and I started to cry. It made me cry."

Boyle may have the stamp of singing approval from a sharp-tongued critic like Cowell, but she's really only doing this for one person. "I wanted to do this as a tribute to my mother," she said of her late mum.

Boyle follows in the footsteps of past winner Paul Potts, who judges initially also doubted because of his less-than-sophisticated appearance. Like Boyle, Potts won them over with his voice. Post-Talent, Potts' debut album One Chance went on to claim the No.1 spot on the U.K. Albums Chart less than a week after its

i agree.  i was very moved.  goosebumps on my arms & tears welling up in my eyes  thanx cas

The one and only message I ever posted at YouTube was for this performance, actually this was much more than a performance, any great movie producer/director would give an arm to capture what happened here. This was the super bowl, a great boxing championship, and much more all rolled into one.

USA Chris Isaak comes to Oz a fair bit....he and Cyndi Lauper and Jerome Jackson helped judge the Aussie Idol contestants last season with our three judges....there isn't a shortage of great singers on our planet but there is a massive shortage of great song writiers...that is what is needed.....SONGS AND MUSIC...new ones that will match the hits of 80's and 90's....even the 70's.
