Something very disturbing happened recently that got me to thinking Thais are just as evil as any other pisspot nation.

They set adrift some “economic” refugees that landed on their shores despite the fact that last year Burma had a hideous flood and aid was disputed over (by the Burmese army and they refused help from other nations causing their own people to really suffer)….now when Thailand had the tsunami crisis along with Sri Lanka and  Indonesia, they were helped by the whole world, including Australia who donated a 1 billion dollars to the victims in the tsunami. I was bitterly oppose to us sending that much help overseas when we have victims of floods and fire going on right now and government doesn’t phucking help us tax payers when crisis happens, we are expected to have insurance….and if worse comes to worse, our government helps out with a pittance sent to victims….

Now, these poor guys were flogged and sent adrift….so much for Muslim and Buddhist charity begins at home….BASTARDS.

Burmese asylum seekers may be refugees: Indonesia
By Indonesia correspondent Geoff Thompson

Posted 6 hours 8 minutes ago

Indonesia says hundreds of Burmese Muslim asylum seekers recently rescued at sea near Aceh may be able to claim refugee status.

The country's Foreign Ministry previously said the almost 400 Rohingya men were 'economic migrants'.

It had carefully avoided acknowledging that they may have been deliberately mistreated in either Burma or in Thailand, where they were allegedly beaten and abandoned at sea in boats without engines.

Indonesia's Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda now says Indonesia accepts the possibility that the men faced some threats from their countries due to religious politics.

He said representatives from the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees have now been invited to assess the men's claims.

It is damn scary... It is.

You know, shooting them would have been kinder. I realize that sounds stupid, but setting people adrift in the open ocean is just plain torture. I wonder how many times they have done that before and the boat has disappeared from sight like a Bermuda Triangle mystery.

Know what I mean?

I'm trying to get my head around the fact that they sent them adrift in boats without motors. Jesus, why didn't they just give them an old rubber tube inflated and saved themselves a rickety boat instead?

What a mentality!
