I have been meaning to write this letter for some time now and, in light of recent developments, ie Wick’s goderation technique I believe it is timely and certainly very apt. I would like to start by announcing Cosmic Outpost's hijinks, mainly because they pique me.
The thing I'm the most piqued about is that the term "court jesters" or rather a “village of idiots,” comes to mind when thinking of the Cosmic Outpost membership. Assuredly, that term applies only to some of it, which is why I contend that people often get the impression that ineffectual shut-ins (waves to Alpo) and Cosmic Outpost's groupies are separate entities. Not so. When one catches viral pneumonia, the others catch a secondary chest infections. As proof, note that Cosmic Outpost has been making a half hearted effort to show that it can moderate flames and challenges and posts of the membership so as to really hurt itself and lose good flamers.
I'm figuring that most people are starting to realize that such goderations are a distortion of the good sense and that we desperately need to combat these dullards by letting Cosmic Outpost know, in no uncertain terms, that unlike it, we believe in individuality, attack the rule of mediocrity, and unfair play in which they engage to practice. (waves to wick and TwaP) And tell them unreservedly, to **** off.
If one needs an advertisement that Cosmic Outpost is now the weakest link in flame town, then consider that it spawned spammer Son of Satan who now wishes to change himself into an angel of light, and call himself Gabriel. Did it not? Why do I tell you this? Because these days, no one else has the courage to?
While Cosmic Outpost's semi-literate member’s ramblings might be of some interest to specialists in a handicapped, infant communication program, I'm sure no one sound minded thinks it does, They’re in a slippery sliding avalanche of mediocrity over there and just another circle of jerks offs solidified by their own self-ownage, So don't feed me any **** encrusted bulldust about how its virtues are the only true virtues of flamage. That's just not true. We don't have to stand for this and post there! No, no we don’t.
