I may well join if not to contribute, certainly to do some reading, if not contributing, as I like what most lefties have to say as long as they are not obsessive and I know little about how the American lefties think and on what issues they realy get worked up about. Such reading would be an antidote for  the racist right over at Newstalkback.....
